The Legend of Zelda
Ok, here's the new one! My favorite video game series of all time, The Legend of Zelda! I loved, loved, LOVED this game as a kid, I played it for hours and hours, finding all the hidden doors, and heart pieces. My Dad actually bought this game for one of his dental assistant's kid who was in a body cast after a bad skiing accident, and I was so jealous that this kid got the game before I did! My Mom and Dad even took me with them to pick the games out to make sure the kid had some good games to play while he was in the hospital. I would like to say I didn't make a fuss, asking my Dad to buy it for me too, but that's most likely not the case, as I got the game a few months later. I still play this game frequently, and get excited for every new Zelda game, no matter how similar they all seem to be to each other. GO ZELDA!
Also, I forgot to subtitle this one...oh, well.

MiniPrint: Invincible Action Playset
Well, I started this blog with full intention of updating semi-regularly, but I have been asked to have my PrintCutPlay pieces as part of a gallery showing in August, and I'm still on the fence as to whether or not I want to publicly display the pieces before the show. I will continue to dwell on this for a while, but there is a possibility of no new posts until August. I leave you for now with a piece that I made for my friend, and Invincible artist, Ryan Ottley's son on his Birthday.
Well call this one a PrintCutPlay:mini. Thanks, friends!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Totally Bogus Break-in!
Probably one of the first franchises I actually went completely nuts for was TMNT. I know the cool thing to do would be to pay homage to the original Eastman and Laird vision, but let's face it, 99% of us who first saw TMNT as kids fell in love with the cartoon, which, in turn, introduced us to the wonderful world of independent comics. So that's why I drew the multi-colored headbands, and (from what I've heard) Eastman and Lairds much-despised Bebop and Rocksteady.
Again, full res downloadable cutouts available upon request.

Star Wars: Death Star Rescue
It shouldn't be a surprise that Star Wars would be an entry in my "stuff that influenced me as a kid" series. Honestly, if you didn't grow up idolizing Han Solo when you were a kid, then I feel sorry for you. So, when I was laying out all the characters, I was like, "Man, I got a bit too much extra room here...what to draw?" What to draw? The little mousy droid that runs away from Chewie, that's what! This was a fun one to draw! Back in a few with...I dunno, something awesome.

Ghostbusters vs. Gozer the Gozerian
This is the first piece in my "print.cut.play" series. It started off as a birthday present for my friend, Lucas, cause he is a HUGE Ghostbusters nerd, so I made him a magnet set of his favorite characters from his favorite franchise instead of buying him some shitty video game or something.
Well, it had been a long time since I'd drawn anything in my free time that wasn't my comic, "Pirate Club" or freelance work, and I realized how much fun it was to draw this stuff. I had a hell of a time drawing this piece, and I realized I needed to do some of my own "geeking out" over my past.
So, coming up next are a few pieces from my past, and then...who knows. This is just the beginning, so come on back soon for a new one.
$10 + $6 s/h
(multiple print orders will be refunded ALL additional shipping charges)
